Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) Board Member Mr. Francis Agbozo provided toilets and restrooms to residents of Zuta-Agbozokope in South Akatsi Municipality.
The eight-unit washroom with six bathrooms would serve community members who in the past struggled for these basic amenities.
Mr. Agbozo, in a short handover ceremony at Zuta Agbozokope, said that the use of the facilities would not cost community members anything, but instructed the elders to form a committee for the upkeep of the facilities.
He thanked the elders of the community, including the local MP and all the people who supported his vision and plans for community development.
Mr. Martin Kofitsey Nyahe, Municipal General Manager of Akatsi South, called for good housekeeping practices.
He thanked Mr. Agbozo for expressing his love through the donation to the community.
The Ghana News Agency also observed that more than 30 streetlights donated by Mr. Agbozo have been installed at vantage points in the community for clear vision at night and to control crime.
