Carrie-Anne Moss brought futuristic glamor to the premiere of “The Matrix Resurrections” in San Francisco.
Returning to her lead role as Trinity in the sci-fi franchise, Moss walked the red carpet in a black Oscar de la Renta dress. The “Snow Cake” actress’ custom sleeveless dress featured a flowing cape and long train, as well as a plunging neckline for added drama. Mimicking the franchise’s signature code lines, Moss’s dress also featured scintillating lines of green and silver sequins at its hem in a smart and glamorous self-reference. The look of the actress was completed with sparkling earrings and a large silver ring.
For shoes, Moss appeared to be wearing black square-toed pumps, although his style wasn’t fully visible under the long skirt of her dress. Based on their subtle sheen, it’s likely the pair were made from satin or some other smooth texture. With their dark neutral hue, the shoes allowed Moss’s dress to make the most daring statement for the franchise’s comeback of the ’90s.
Moss often goes for versatile black heels on the red carpet. The “Disturbia” actress can regularly be seen in point-toe pumps and platform sandals, often featuring a leather upper with block heels or stiletto heels. However, she has also been seen on occasion in jewel-colored suede pumps, as well as metallic ankle-strap sandals in pale gold hues.
